HOURGLASS FILM FESTIVAL

Showcased at MassArt’s 2024 All School Show
I created the identity system for The Hourglass Film Festival, a festival showcasing apocalyptic films. The festival aims to foster discussions on pertinent real world issues, such as climate change, the consequences of technological advancements, and societal vulnerabilities. I sought to create a visual narrative around the idea of a corrupted hard drive, which lends itself to visually push such discusions. I selected brand colors that amplify this idea, including a vibrant warning orange which contrasts with the stark black and gray used to signal a bleak future. This imagery evokes the danger of a tomorrow that is plagued by potential challenges.
